Considering the time of year the Santa shoot had very good weather, although the breeze did pick up on the second half. The soup was enjoyed by all and stretched a remarkably long way reconsidering we had the largest turn-out for years. Thank to everyone for turned up and either shoot or helped out.

At the Club AGM in December the Handicap Improvement Medal was awarded to Craig Windust for a seven point drop in handicap, though it went to a tie-break shoot-off during a Postal Shoot to settle the matter. To everyone else, just remember, now his handicap has gone down it'll be harder for him to improve, giving others the chance to take the medal off him in 2003.
Congratulations go to all those members of Corus who competed in the North Wales Outdoor Championships shot in September.

It was a fine day at the end of the year when the club championships were held. The published round to be shot was a Western. Once everyone was assembled shooting began. Rain had been forecast but the morning was fine with sunshine and a heavy dew was on the ground. By 2 O'Clock dark clouds had formed to the west and was closing in. By a majority vote it was decided to shorten the round to a National and save everyone from a possible soaking.
