Welcome to the Home Page of the Corus Deeside Archers, formally known as British Steel Archery Club.

Here you will find information about our club and it's activities, useful links regarding Archery in the North Wales area and anything else we think of!

Corus has been shooting at the same field for 50 years, undergoing several name changes in the progress, the most recent in January of 2003.

Beginners Course!

As the club now has a number of qualified coaches, we have been running beginners courses this year.

Sadly due to large numbers of beginners who actually took up archery as a sport at the end of the course we will not be running any beginners courses over the winter. This will allow us to concentrate on bringing on the current novices.

Please contact us either by phone, or email, if you are interested in learning Archery. Phone Patricia Windust on (01978) 291170 or Email : archery@NOSPAMhatted-one.co.uk

Please Note : Corus (Deeside) Archery Club requires a parent, or guardian appointed by the parent, to accompany children below school leaving age. If you are thinking of taking up Archery, as a serious sport or as a hobby pastime, you are strongly advised not to buy any equipment until you have completed the Beginners Course and are familiar with the different types of equipment available and what is suitable for you.
